( Information Department of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Secretariat )

We are ready to develop bilateral relations between Ukraine and the Netherlands,” – Dmytro Razumkov

The Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Dmytro Razumkov met with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Netherlands Stef Blok.

The speaker thanked the Netherlands for its support in the implementation of reforms, especially given the rapid pace of bringing them to fruition. He also hoped for developing and deepening bilateral relations between the two countries.

The parties paid special attention to the M17 plane crash. Dmytro Razumkov expressed his condolences to relatives of the dead and reaffirmed Ukraine's steadfast position on the unavoidable bringing those responsible to justice.

“Ukraine is open to dialogue and ready to comprehensively contribute to the investigation of this tragedy.  We will make every effort to ensure that those responsible are punished, ” the speaker stressed.

Dmytro Razumkov also hopes for the expansion of inter-parliamentary relations between the countries. "The new parliament is set to continue and develop a constructive dialogue with our Dutch counterparts," the Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine emphasized.

For his part, the Minister for Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of the Netherlands Stef Blok thanked Ukraine for its support in the investigation of the M17 accident.

He also underscored that the Netherlands, as a powerful investor in Ukraine's economy, is ready to expand cooperation provided the necessary conditions are created.

The Minister observed that the reforms currently taking place in Ukraine should have a positive impact on the country’s investment attractiveness.
