The Chairperson of The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine got acquainted with the activity of the Lutsk Repair Plant 'Motor'
During his working visit to the Volyn region, Chairperson of The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Dmytro Razumkov visited the Repair Plant 'Motor' of the State Concern Ukroboronprom.
The Speaker of the Parliament got acquainted with the process of repairing aircraft engines and manufacturing parts for them, as well as inspected the exhibition of samples of parts. The company's management informed about the growth of production and the increase in the number of contracts in the first quarter of this year.
"This is a good dynamic. We hope that it will be the same in the future," Dmytro Razumkov said. He stressed that today, given the aggravation of the situation in the East of our country and on its borders, it is important that such enterprises do not slow down.
The event was also attended by General Director of the State Concern "Ukroboronprom" Yurii Gusev.
For reference: Lutsk Repair Plant 'Motor' is currently the only enterprise that provides the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine with repaired engines for SU-24 (M), SU-27, MiG-29, IL-76 (units) combat aircraft. The company is also the center for technical support of aircraft engines and research to continue the resource indicators of aviation equipment.
