First Deputy Chairperson of The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine discussed the issues of Inter-Parliamentary security cooperation and counteraction to Russian aggression with the Vice-Marshal of the Sejm of the Republic of Poland

First Deputy Chairperson of The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Ruslan Stefanchuk discussed the issues of Inter-Parliamentary security cooperation and counteraction to Russian aggression with the Vice-Marshal of the Sejm of the Republic of Poland Malgorzata Gosiewska.

Expressing solidarity and support for Ukraine, Malgorzata Gosiewska announced her intention to visit Donbas next week together with First Vice Speaker of the Parliament of Ukraine Ruslan Stefanchuk and the Vice Speaker of the Seimas of the Republic of Lithuania Paulus Saudargas.

European officials will be able to see and assess the situation in Еastern Ukraine with their own eyes. During the meeting, important issues will be discussed, including the possibility of resolving the ongoing military conflict between Ukraine and Russia as soon as possible.

Ruslan Stefanchuk noted that Ukraine is open to Inter-Parliamentary cooperation and thanked Lithuania and Poland for Ukraine's continued support in restoring its sovereignty and territorial integrity. The First Vice Speaker of the Parliament of Ukraine expressed hope that fruitful cooperation and friendly relations with Poland and Lithuania would accelerate the return of the long-awaited peace to Ukraine.
