Morning session’s over
Deputy Chairperson of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Oksana Syroid opened the moning plenary session.
The presiding officer gave the floor to representatives of the parliamentary factions and groups to make their announcements, statements, reports, and proposals.
After the speeches, the lawmakers proceeded with
debates over the business of the day – the bills No.8502, 8502-1 on making the
Kuialnyk Estuary zone to be a health resort of national stature.

--Draft law No.8502
By 231 votes, the parliament passed the bill “On declaration of the Kuialnyk Estuary natural area of the Odesa oblast to be a health resort of national stature”.
The bill declares the area as a national stature health resort. The law also delineates boundaries of the area and the resort’s sanitary protection zones.
Parliamentarians started reviewing amendments to the
draft bill No.8450 on foodstuff consumer information. The amendment work shall
be resumed at the next plenary session. The presiding
officer closed the meeting.
