The Preparatory Deputy Group convened for its First Meeting to prepare the Agenda for the First Session of The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine of the 6th Convocation.

On Tuesday 6 November the First Meeting of the Preparatory Deputy Group, set up to make preparations for the First Session of The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine of the 6th Convocation, was held in The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine.

 

Taking part in this Meeting were nineteen People's Deputies, including ten members of the Yulia Tymoshenko Bloc, five members of the electoral bloc of political parties ‘Our Ukraine - People's Self-Defence Bloc´, two delegates from the Communist Party of Ukraine, one delegate from the Party of Regions and one delegate from the Lytvyn Electoral Bloc.

 

The meeting of the Preparatory Deputy Group was opened by Olexander Moroz, the Chairman of The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine of the 5th Convocation.

 

The Meeting approved the Standing Orders of the Preparatory Deputy Group, which must now consider the proposals for the preparatory process and the holding of the Ceremonial Meeting and plenary meetings of the First Session of The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine of the 6th Convocation. They also studied the proposals for the election of the Preparatory Group leaders.

 

After the discussions, it was decided to continue the First Meeting of the Preparatory Group at 3:00 pm on Wednesday 7 November.

 

For Reference. Political parties (electoral blocs of political parties) have delegated in total thirty People's Deputies to the Preparatory Deputy Group.

The Party of Regions has delegated twelve People's Deputies:
