Iryna Herashchenko: "Cadres decide everything"

( Information Department of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Secretariat )

Iryna Herashchenko – A build-up of the personnel reserve is the core knowledge we ought to borrow flatly from our European and American partners

The Parliament’s Vice-Speaker Iryna Herashchenko took part in the solemn closing party of the Parliament’s Administration probation programme 2017. She expressed her gratitude to all the international contributors for their assistance rendered for and within the Programme aiming at shaping the personnel reserve, which is these days a key element in further development of the country.

The Vice-Speaker congratulated the programme-takers with the successful completion of the Event and wished them all to seek self-fulfillment henceforth, a balance between   dreams, work and family. “Be yourselves, do not betray you principles, the national interests of Ukraine, leave room for reading books and self-development”. The Programme has become a sort of platform to educate the new political in-crowd of Ukraine. The key task for the next parliamentary session was named harmonization of the laws to European standards.

As the EU-UA Association agreement is to come into force on September 1, 2017, the process of the legislations harmonization is getting the essential yet plenty of time and efforts consuming goal – it would however lay the foundation for the real European intergration.

George Kent, Deputy Chief of Mission in Ukraine congratulated, from his part, the programme-finishers and highlighted the role of the Parliament’s Administration in the personnel development. He voiced his hopes that the programme would advance and continue.

The Programme’s closing ceremony was also attended by P.Bodnar, First Deputy Administrator of the Parliament, MPs, V.Liakh, President of the East Europe Foundation, I.Kogut, Director of the USAID Rada Program, M.Savina, Director of NGO “Interns’ League”.
